In this class, we explore the ancient and ever-evolving practice of telling stories through fiber, cloth, and stitch. Across cultures and throughout human history, people have used fabric and thread to hold memory, meaning, and imagination. These stories might be intimate and deeply personal, or lighthearted and whimsical. This class is designed to nurture your creativity; no previous sewing experience or artistic background is required!
Fabric and supplies are included in the class. Although participants are encouraged to bring supplies from home as they might bring additional meaning to their work.
