241 Tote November 6th-20th

Class times:

Thursdays 1-3. November 6th-20th

This tote is a fabric lovers favorite! Using small cuts of fabric, you'll be able to use your favorites and still have scraps leftover. It's called the 241 because it's like two patterns in one (two for one)!

Recommended Fabrics: Canvas (6-8 oz. weight) for exterior and Accent fabric. Quilting cotton or lightweight canvas for Lining.

• This tote is perfect for using up all kinds of fabric scraps. Feel free to bring in your own or peruse the available option in the studio.

• 2 ¼ yards Fusible Woven Interfacing

depending on your exterior or accent fabric choice (such as a heavier canvas or a waxed canvas in a 7-9 oz. weight), you may be able to omit the interfacing for the exterior fabric and/or some of the accent pieces. For this option, reduce fusible interfacing requirement to 1 ¼ yards and do not interface those pieces.

There are several fabric options available for purchase in the studio.

• Coordinating thread

• 2 5 inch zippers (optional)

• 1 18mm thin magnetic snap (for front pocket closure) OR 1 size 24 metal snap

• Purchase of the pattern is included in the cost of the class

• Fabric should be washed prior to the first day of class.
